Change of mind return
If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, IceTV will offer you an option to exchange for another product of similar or higher value or a refund, but with these conditions:
- You return the item within 14 days of receipt of goods; and
- It is sealed, unopened and in original undamaged packaging.
Please note:
The product is returned to IceTV at your cost.
If these conditions are not satisfied, IceTV reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund.
Exchanges for an alternate product that has a higher value will most likely incur a price difference; this will be calculated on a case by case basis.
Faulty goods return
IceTV will accept product returns and provide you with a refund or replacement, providing within 30 days of being received:
- The product is faulty or DOA (Dead on Arrival); or
- The product does not match our description on the website; and
- You have contacted our technical support team to troubleshoot, and/or
- The manufacturer’s technical support team to troubleshoot, and
- You have been given an RA (Return Authority) from IceTV in written form (email) to return the product. This can be achieved by emailing sales@icetv.com.au and stating your case.
Please Note:
It is a requirement that all equipment including instruction manuals and all accessories originally sent, are returned with the faulty product.
In the event that a Humax, Topfield or Beyonwiz PVR is found to be faulty within 30 days they will organise collection of the faulty PVR.
You have the option to freeze your IceTV account, during the return process.
Refunds will be issued using your original payment method.
We strongly recommend you retain the product packaging for the duration of the warranty period so that, in the unlikely event that you will need to return an item for repair or replacement, you will have adequate packaging available to do so.
Manufacturer Warranty Claim
IceTV will facilitate warranty claims for our customers provided that:
- The product is determined to be faulty within the manufacturer's warranty period from the date of purchase; and
- You have contacted our technical support team to troubleshoot, and/or
- The manufacturer’s technical support team to troubleshoot, and
- The product is returned to the manufacturer at your cost.
Please note:
Some PVR manufacturers offer collection of faulty products at their cost, within their warranty period from the date of purchase.
You have the option to freeze your IceTV account, during the return process.
IceTV is not a manufacturer, or manufacturers agent, therefore we do not have a say in the time taken to resolve a warranty claim.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
