What is IceBox Bring Your Own Box (BYOB)?
This is where you take a computer you already have and install the IceBox firmware on it and use it as an IceBox.
What do I need for an IceBox BYOB setup?
A computer that has a HDMI connection so you can connect it directly to your TV. We would recommend having a hard drive that's at least 1TB in size to allow for a standard amount of recordings to be stored on it.
The IceBox firmware does not support GeForce Video Cards. Most CPU's will have a built in video card that will powerful enough to allow it to function as an IceBox.
You will need the computer and some TV Tuners, it's also recommended to have a remote control so you can sit back on the couch and watch TV.
How do I install the IceBox BYOB firmware?
First you need to download the IceBox firmware and install it.
