You can setup custom timer padding on the IceBox which will automatically extend all timers based on the time you set, this is to stop missing the end of shows due to TV stations not sticking to their advertised start and stop times.
The IceBox has a default of 3 minutes for Pre-Padding and 30 minutes for Post-Padding.
To change this:
- On the IceBox home screen go down to "Add-ons" on the left hand side.
- Go across to the right and highlight the big button for IceTV and press the OK button on the remote control.
- Change the Pre-Padding and Post-Padding options in the IceTV settings, don't forget to remove the number currently there before entering a new one, then select Done when updated:
- Once you are happy with the values go to the right and highlight the OK button on the screen, then press the OK button on the remote control to save them.
All set, all future timers will record using these settings.
