Firstly you should look for an 'overscan' option in your TV and disable that, but if your TV doesn't have one (and you will need to check your TV manual to see what it's called) then the output of the IceBox can be adjusted to take that into account.
Follow these steps to adjust the output from your IceBox:
- From the home screen go to the settings icon (the 'cog' icon that is the middle of the three icons in the top left hand side of the screen).
- Select "System"
- On the left hand side of the screen go down to the last option (by default it will be a 'cog' icon and say "Standard").
- While this is selected press the "OK" button on the remote control until it says "Expert", if you miss it then keep pressing the "OK" button until you get to "Expert".
- Go up on the left side options until you have "Display" highlighted.
- Press the "Left" button on the remote control.
- This will allow you to go through the options listed on the right side of the page, press the "Down" button until you get to "Video Calibration".
- Press the "OK" button on the remote control.
- This will start with "Top-Left overscan compensation" on the screen. On this screen press the "Right" and "Down" buttons on the remote control until the blue arrow (as seen here in the top left corner) is shown right in the corner.
- Press the "OK" button on the remote control.
- You will now go to the "Bottom-Right overscan compensation" listed on the screen. On here do the exact same thing, but instead use the "Up" and "Left" buttons on the remote until the blue arrow (this time in the bottom right hand corner of the screen) is shown in that corner of the screen.
- Press the "OK" button on the remote control.
- It will now be on the "subtitle positioning" screen. This is the blue bar at the bottom of the screen. You don't need to change this.
- Press the "Back" button on the remote control.
- Press the "Home" button on the remote control to go back to the IceBox home screen.
