How Does IceTV work?
The way it work is that your PVR logs into IceTV every 15 minutes for EPG updates and any new recording instructions. If there are any tuner collisions it tells us and we email you. If it doesn't log in we see the recording instructions sent by us as "Waiting”, which is why you may see “hollow” red dots in your TV Guide or “My Series”, and if it doesn't log in for 5 days we alert you. Once they are set the Humax sends back the message "Pending” and you see solid red dots showing the recordings are properly set (the key to all the symbols is at the bottom of the TV Guide, “My Week” and “Help” on the app).
