There are two possible causes for this to happen.
Firstly, If you have an existing IceTV account that was created outside of the EyeTV setup wizard you will need to create a device in the Remote section of the IceTV website.
You can do this by following these steps:
- Login to the My Account page on the IceTV website.
- In the bottom of the page under "Add an Interactive device" enter a name for you device in the box marked "Device Name" (e.g. Loungeroom or EyeTV).
- Change the recorder model to "Elgato EyeTV".
- Click "Add".
- The page will refresh and you will get a confirmation message at the top saying the device has been added.
Once complete go into the preferences window in EyeTV and on the "Guide" screen ensure that "IceTV - Australia" is selected as the "Service". Select "Change" and re-confirm your account details.
Open the EyeTV Programs screen and select "Channels" on the left and you can now choose "IceTV" from the available options in the "EPG"column.
Go to "Program Guide" on the left at the top of the screen and then select "Update IceTV Guide".
The second case is where your userid is a full email address.
If this is the case you should login to the Account Details page under My Account and change your username to just be a name. Update the details in EyeTV using the process described above and you should now be able to update the guide.
